Scooters and mopeds have a reputation for being safer than other vehicles because of their small size and lack of power. However, driving a scooter comes with as many risks as driving a car. Because of their size, scooters are hard for automobile drivers to see, so stay visible, move with traffic, and avoid roads where you are unable to go the speed limit because of the bike’s power.
Unfortunately not everyone who decides that they are up for renting a scooter or motorbike is equipped with the required experience or knowledge. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Everyone has to learn somehow.🤓 But before you take off on that exciting adventure, be sure to do your homework! 🤓

Useful information about the damages
We are proud to say that we are one of rare rental companies who is lead by main policy – only renting vehicles 100% free of any estetic(visual) damages in 99% of our rentals. We are doing our best to fix those scooters ASAP – even if it means overnight-evening work in summer peak season for us. We dont use any stickers or any kind of cover-ups for masking old damages if there are any. Why we say 99%, there is always 1% chance we dont fix visual damage (waiting for new part etc…) so thats why in rental agreement there is section if there is any visual damage to be noted.
All scooters are photographed before rent so we encouraged you to do the same.
Most people are unaware that scooters and motorcycles are not toys, they are fully capable vehicles with some serious capable speeds and value. Repairing a scooter or motorcycle is VERY expensive, so we have created this page to provide some clear photographic examples. This way, everyone can judge for themselves what an accident would eventually cost.
PLEASE NOTE: Since for any visual-estetic damages, painting job must be done, witch involves 24 hours of paint dry + labor hours. That means damages scooter cannot be rented next day after damage has been done, so we add 70% of one day rental price to total damage cost.
We think the photos below are self-explanatory, but you are welcome to email us at for further information.
This is example of big deep paint scratch. Body of plastic is not broken. As you can see, damaged pores are all the way into pure plastic. This fix requires that entire plastic part is taken away, and inspected FROM INSIDE. If there is any broken plastic holders from inside witch collapsed from shock, that has to be repaired too.
After that, scratch needs to be fixed. Process involves sandpapering, cleaning, applying putty, applying plastic primer, than base-coat after it paint coat with in between sandpapering micro-holes.
This process takes a minimum of 3-4 hours, depending on where the damage is located and how big it is, without broke plastic parts. Approximately 70€, if the plastic is not broken.
Very similar example with example 1. scratch is deep, but in this case, beside main scratch there are small light scratches, not so deep but still adds more damage expenses by 20% to the main one.
This is example of total damage of the ONE PLASTIC part. It means that repairing this plastic part would be more than buying new one + repainting it. So we estimate cost of new plastic + repainting new plastic versus rapiring damages broken plastic. Our vehicle fleet is all in same matt color white – so even new plastic parts needs to be repainted since there is no factory color of it.
In this case, whole new plastic part + repainting labor would cost around 90€ + 40€. Thats estimation, it greatly depends of scooter model for the price of the new plastic. Laboring cost is same.
Also, light fairing is broken in this example, price from new one is based from catalog price + shipping.
Very similar to Example no.2. only in this case main deep scratch surface is bigger so the cost could be greater
